Risk Assessments

Specific Risk Assessments from the childcare setting may be assigned to parents to view, these could be for specific events or excursions, for example a trip to the beach or a venue the setting has not visited before.

Parents can only view the risk assessments not comment or respond to them.

Key Areas of the Risk Assessments section for Parents

Only specific Risk Assessments will be assigned to parents to view, not all the childcare setting's Risk Assessments.
Parents can see at a glance the hazards within each Risk Assessment and the Risk Rating for each.
Parents cannot comment or respond to Risk Assessments.

After clicking on the risk asses icon on the home screen you will be taken to the overview page of the risk assesments section (1), if any risk assessments have been assigned to you,  you can click on the view link for any of the listed risk assessments to be taken to a new page to view the selected risk assessment (2).

When viewing the selected risk assessment you will see the date it was created and the date it will be reviewed, clicking on hazard statistics (3) will display a breakdown of the hazards within the risk assessment.

You can then click on any of the hazards in the risk assessment to read more about each hazard (4).

Web PC / Desktop & tablet app (iOS / Android)

The Risk Assessments section can be accessed by placing your mouse over the The Setting icon at the top of the page and from the drop down list that appears clicking on the Risk Assessments link.

If after arriving at the Risk Assessments section you need assistance with using this section, click on the Help Tour link at the top of the page where full step by step instructions on how to use this section will be provided, you can find the Help Tour link at the top of the page in every section of the system.
